The origins of labyrinths are enigmatic and shrouded in mystery. People hypothesise and create religious and mythological and narratives. As far back as the pyramids, in different places and different societies, people have created myriads of labyrinths but all with that same structure.
Life is a labyrinth full of enigmas that moves us to other dimensions while simultaneously keeping us in the present dimension. The spiritual and material spheres, seemingly at adds with one another, are intertwined and form what we call our world.
How do we uncover the mystique as we walk though the labyrinth of our life? The only way to solve the mystery is to walk through life. To wander the path of the labyrinth.
Sometimes we envisage our life as a physical place, that place where we wander the labyrinth. Sometimes we choose a fast and fluid path, a path that ebbs and flows but leads nowhere. The walls of the labyrinth move as we walk life’s journey through our thoughts and actions. Is what we see and do real or an optical illusion? Is it a mirage leading us nowhere?
