Johannes Thoma, Jazzpianist aus Wien, organisiert eine vielfältige Konzertreihe mit dem Titel "Art of the Duo".
Zu jedem Termin ladet sich Johannes Thoma eine bekannte Jazzgröße ein, gemeinsam zelebrieren sie musikalische Zweisamkeit vom Feinsten.
So wie er das auch schon auf seiner CD "Colors of Voices" macht.
Einmal die Woche ladet Johannes Thoma seine Gäste ins Café Strudelka ein, noch bis Ende November 2017.

About Rick:
American Jazz Guitarist Rick Hannah plays mainstream jazz in bluesy, melodic, swing and bop styles. Before moving to Berlin, he had toured Europe several times with drummer Alphonse Mouzon and organist Brian Auger. Dedicating himself to American mainstream jazz, he moved to France where he created the Rick Hannah Trio. Strongly influenced by Joe Pass, Wes Montgomery and Bill Evans, his two most recent CDs, the solo "Handful of Strings" and "2-Man Jazz Band" received 4-star reviews at All About Jazz.

Die oberösterreichische Jazzsängerin Ellen D. und ihr Pianist Albert Reifert (Wien) verwöhnen uns mit rhythmischen Eigenkompositionen, melancholischen Bossa Novas, Titeln von Stevie Wonder, Alicia Keys, Adele, Silje Neergard, Corinne Bailey Rae, Billie Holiday sowie bekannten Standards aus dem "Great American Songbook". Ein stimmungsvoller Abend mit vielen unterschiedlichen Facetten erwartet uns.
