As is the case every year, Rolf Bichsel tasted the current Bordeaux en primeur vintage for VINUM. The results are available as an iPad and iPhone app.

It took 14 shirts, 8 pairs of trousers, 4 toothbrushes and 3 tubes of toothpaste, a promotional pack of soft soap for cleaning blue-black hands, 3000 kilometres by car and almost four weeks to try around 700 barrel samples across two dozen tasting sessions. The reason for all this? Our annual en primeur special! VINUM is the only major wine magazine in the world to put so much effort into tasting young wines from Bordeaux.
