(openPR) Fürth. Die Computec Media AG veräußert ihre englische Tochtergesellschaft Computec Media UK Ltd. an den englischen Verlag Future Publishing Ltd. Der Verkaufspreis beträgt nominal rund 7 Mio. EUR, von denen rund 2,5 Mio. EUR über die nächsten 5 Jahre in Form von Lizenzen und redaktionellen Inhalten abgegolten werden. Die Lizenzierung der englischen Inhalte will die Computec Media AG nutzen, um zahlreiche neue Magazine auf den Markt zu bringen und ihre Zusammenarbeit mit der Future-Gruppe zu intensivieren. Der Verkauf erfolgt aufschiebend bedingt nach erfolgter Jahresabschlussprüfung der Computec Media UK Ltd.

Computec Media AG sells UK subsidiary

Fürth. Computec Media AG will be selling its British subsidiary, Computec Media UK Ltd., to Future Publishing Ltd., a major UK publishing house. The nominal sales price amounts to around EUR 7 million, of which around EUR 2.5 million will take the form of licences and editorial content over the next five years. Computec Media AG will be using the licensed content to bring a large number of new magazines to the market and is also planning to intensify its relationship with the Future Group. The sale will take place on condition precedent after the completion of the annual audit at Computec Media UK Ltd.
