Kurzdarstellung PanoramaStreetline:
PanoramaStreetline zelebriert die Einzigkartigkeit der Architektur unserer Städte in Strassenzügen. Es entstehen Bildmontagen von Strassenansichten, die man so noch nicht zuvor sehen konnte.

PanoramaStreetline erarbeitet ein Archiv ausgewählter Strassenansichten aus Städten weltweit und trägt damit zum Entstehen eines virtuellen Abbildes unserer Welt bei. Der Fokus liegt dabei auf der Einzigartigkeit und Tradition von architektonischen Entwicklungen verschiedener Orte. Zum Online-Archiv: panoramastreetline.com

Bei den von Panorama-Streetline erstellten Fotos handelt es sich um so genannte Multi-Perspektiven-Panoramen. Diese sind aus einer Folge von Einzelbildern zusammengesetzt. Fotografiert wird die entsprechende Häuserzeile frontal jeweils im Abstand weniger Meter. Die Korrektur der Perspektiven und Skalierung sowie das Zusammenfügen der Bilder wird manuell vorgenommen. Derzeit gibt es kein Computerprogramm, das automatisch eine Montage der Einzelbilder in einer ausreichenden Qualität anfertigen könnte.

From October 2018 until late 2019, Germany is highlighting its close friendship to the United States through a yearlong festival, Wunderbar Together. Working with over 200 partners, the celebration will feature over 1,000 events across all 50 states. Wunderbar Together is a comprehensive and collaborative initiative funded by the German Federal Foreign Office, implemented by the Goethe-Institut and supported by the Federation of German Industries (BDI).
