Tabitha Elkins, who grew up in the blue-collar town of Trenton, New Jersey,
managed to escape the slums and win a scholarship to study music composition at
NYU (former university of Lady Gaga). She is best known for jazz and
instrumental music, as well as ambitious projects such as "Rites of Arda" (inspired
by Tolkien). Her long-awaited CD, “Upside Down World” was produced in a retro
rock style, combining elements of rock, blues, gospel and soul that Elkins is best
known for and is set to debut sometime in May, 2016.
