(openPR) Infantellina Contemporary, die erste und einzige Berliner Galerie, die 100 % italienische Kunst präsentiert, öffnet ab 30.Januar 2010 bis 26.Februar 2010 die Ausstellung " ON SALE " mit : Elena Amodeo, Domino, Beatrice Feo, Gaetano Franzese, Leonardo Martellucci, Daniela Rosignoli, Marta Valls. Special Guest: Judith Sturm.

Kunst hatte schon immer dem Vergnügen des Betrachters gedient. Italienische Künstler wie Leonardo da Vinci, Michelangelo, Caravaggio (eine Liste, die nahezu nach Belieben verlängert werden könnte) haben Arbeiten geschaffen, indem sie Bilder und Konzepte sublimierten; die Schwerpunkte der Auseinandersetzung waren in diesen Zeiten, in denen weder TV noch Zeitung existierten, mehrheitlich die großen Themen: Betonung und Überbetonung von Persönlichkeit und Abstammung, religiöse / ideologische / politische Propaganda.
In unserer Zeit haben die Künstler schließlich sowohl die Freiheit als auch die Unabhängigkeit erreicht und bewahrt, ihre eigenen Gedanken klar darzustellen, ohne die Notwendigkeit, Ideen innerhalb ihrer Kunstwerke verstecken zu müssen.
Die Zwänge der Vergangenheit sind teilweise ersetzt worden: Künstler schlagen sich der Öffentlichkeit auf eine direkte Art selbst oder auf einem indirekten Wege mittels Galerien und Kuratoren vor.
Aber Heute wie „Gestern“ ist das Hauptvergnügen eines jeden „Schöpfers“ das Bewusstsein, dass ein Sammler, fasziniert vom Kunstwerk, es für seinen Erwerb erwählt hat: Jede Arbeit stellt ein Stück seiner Seele dar, welches der Künstler in Materielles übersetzt hat.
Und so verwundert nach einem Verkauf die durch den Künstler zuerst gestellte Frage kaum, die da lautet: Wer?
Die Neugier am Erkennen der Persönlichkeit, welche ihn gewählt hat, übertrifft hierbei die Freude über den reinen Gewinn (über dessen Bedeutung als häufige Quelle der Finanzierung neuer Produktionen und als Zündfunken für neue Stimulationen es keinen Zweifel gibt).
Dies ist der Grund für den absichtlich ironisch gewählten Titel, den I-C für diese Ausstellung ausgesucht hat, welche die Saison 2010 eröffnet.

Arts have always served to pleasure the spectator. Italian artists like Leonardo da Vinci, Michelangelo, Caravaggio (a line of names that could be continued about endlessly) have created works sublimating images and concepts; the scopes of exposure have been, in that time, more the big ones: exaltation of personages and lineages, religious/ ideological/ political propaganda, in times in which t-v and newspapers did not exist.
In our time the artists have finally reached and obtained independence and the freedom to propose their own thoughts without the need of hiding ideas inside their artworks.
The needs of the past have been, partially, replaced: artists propose themselves to the public in a direct way or through the galleries and the curators.
But, today as “yesterday” the main pleasure of every „creator“ is being aware of the fact that a collector, fascinated by the artwork, has opted for its acquisition: every work represents a piece of soul that an artist has translated on and/or into material. Thus it does not come as a surprise that the first question of an artist about a new sale is: who?
The curiosity of knowing the personality that has chosen him also surpasses the joy of the mere gain (not forgetting the importance about this aspect who affords, often, the financing of new productions and the outbreak of new stimuli).
This is the reason behind the title, intentionally ironic, that I-C has chosen for the exhibition that opens the season 2010.

Da sempre l'arte è stata messa a disposizione per il piacere dello spettatore.
Artisti italiani come Leonardo da Vinci, Michelangelo, Caravaggio (potremmo continuare con un elenco senza fine) hanno creato opere sublimando immagini e concetti; gli scopi dell'esposizione sono stati, nel tempo, i più disparati tra cui i principali: esaltazione di personaggi e casate, propaganda politica/ideologica/religiosa nei tempi in cui i media non esistevano.
Nel nostro tempo gli artisti hanno finalmente ottenuto e raggiunto l'indipendenza e la libertà di proporre il proprio pensiero senza sotterfugi.
Le figure dei committenti del passato sono state, in parte, sostituite: gli artisti si propongono al pubblico in modo diretto o tramite le gallerie ed i curatori.
Oggi come ieri il piacere principale di ogni „creatore“ è essere consapevole che un collezionista, affascinato dall'opera, ha optato per la sua acquisizione: ogni opera rappresenta un pezzo di anima che l'artista ha traslato sulla, e con la, materia.
La prima domanda dell'artista notiziato di una nuova vendita è : chi?
La curiosità di sapere e conoscere la personalità di chi ti ha scelto sorpassa la gioia per il mero guadagno (pur non dimenticando l'importanza di questo aspetto che permette, spesso, il finanziamento delle nuove produzioni e l'esplosione di nuovi stimoli).
Questo è il motivo del titolo, volutamente ironico, che I-C ha scelto per la mostra che apre la stagione 2010.

Über das Unternehmen
Die Galerie Infantellina Contemporay wurde am 18. Oktober 2008 eröffnet. Sie befindet sich direkt am Gendarmenmarkt, dem eleganten Herzen in der Mitte Berlins. Ziel der Galerie ist es, einen südeuropäischen Sonnenstrahl in die Berliner Kunstszene zu bringen.
Infantellina Contemporary ist die erste und einzige Galerie der Hauptstadt, die 100 Prozent italienische Gegenwartskunst präsentiert. Zur Auswahl stehen neben junger etablierter Kunst die Werke aufstrebender Künstlerinnen und Künstler - innerhalb einer weiten Spanne verschiedenster künstlerischer Techniken.
Infantellina Contemporary [ I ][C] ist vom Anspruch der Inhaberin, P. Charlotte Stein- Infantellina, geprägt, in einem realen Ausstellungraum eine Kommunikationsplattform zu schaffen, um - nach sachgerechter Vorauswahl von Künstlern und Kunstwerken - eine lebhafte Interaktion zwischen Sammlern, Institutionen und Künstlern zu ermöglichen. Infantellina Contemporary [ I ][C] bewahrt hierbei organisatorische Flexibilität, was sich nicht zuletzt in der Programmerweiterung um ein bis zwei Special-Guests beliebiger Provinienz pro Ausstellung zeigte.
Der Ausgangspunkt für die Wahl der vertretenen Künstler besteht, fast ausschließlich, aus jungen, selbst wenn schon in der Szene bekannten, italienischen Künstlern und vor dem Durchbruch befindlichen Talenten und umspannt die verschiedensten künstlerischen Techniken, mit einem besonderen Interesse für Experimentelles. So verwirklicht Infantellina Contemporary [ I ][C] den Ehrgeiz, als Brutstätte der Stars von morgen zu agieren, ihre Besucher durch Ansprache mittels neuer und zeitgenössischer künstlerischer Ideen emotional zu berühren oder auch "nur" einen Moment der Ruhe und Inspiration zu ermöglichen.
Wir laden Sie ein, an diesem Abenteuer teil zu haben, mit uns gemeinsam einen Blick in die Zukunft zu werfen, zu diskutieren und sich selbst eine Meinung zu bilden, welcher Künstler - oder welche Künstlerin - den Olymp erklimmen wird.

Infantellina Contemporary opened on October 18th, 2008 and is located at Gendarmenmarkt, the elegant district in the heart of Berlin. The gallery's aim is to bring a warm South-European sunray into Berlin's art scene. I-C ist the first one and only Berlin gallery featuring 100% Italian contemporary art.
In our comprehensive and selective exhibition program, we offer to an international audience, a selection of artworks by young established artists as well as new up and coming talents, active in different media, with an eye for experimentation. I-C has, moreover, the ambition to foster the artists' wish to bring forth fresh and contemporary concepts capable of both challenging the spectator emotionally, and supplying interesting impulses - or merely visual satisfaction - so as to showcase the fine products of the Italian art scene.
In the city that - in the last few years - has arguably become the symbol of the contemporary art scene, Infantellina Contemporary wishes to represent a cluster for all lovers of Italian art. Thanks to I-C, the Italian art tradition and the city of Berlin come to merge into an explosive mixture.
Infantellina Contemporary [ I ][C] is a gallery born from the requirement of the owner, P. Charlotte Stein-Infantellina, of having a real exposition space, creating a platform to carry foreward a positive message, through the choice of the artists and the selection of the works, stimulating the active interaction with collectors, attaché’s to the activities, institutions and artists also.
Infantellina Contemporary [ I ][C] gushes from the star of the aesthetic and organizational flexibility; the departure point consists in proposing, nearly exclusively, young even if asserted, Italian artists and a selection of emergent Italian talents, spacing between the several artistic techniques, and additionally one or two special-guests with international provenance.
Infantellina Contemporary [ I ][C] has the ambition, being the birthplace of tomorrows stars, to give them a chance to be able to explain fresh and contemporary concepts that can involve the spectator emotionally, supplying reflection cues and - on the other hand - just simple visual satisfaction. Having a vision projected towards the future rather than to describe plans realized in past, we prefer to invite you to estimate personally, and hope you’ll follow us in this different adventure and maybe the next artist on his way to the Olymp.

La galleria Infantellina Contemporary [ I ][C] è stata inaugurata a Berlino il 18 ottobre 2008 e si trova a Gendarmenmarkt, l'elegante centro della città (citata come la piazza più chic d'Europa). Scopo della galleria è portare nella scena artistica berlinese un caldo raggio di sole sud-europeo.
La Infantellina Contemporary [ I ][C] è infatti la prima e unica galleria della capitale tedesca a presentare arte italiana contemporanea al 100 %, punto di riferimento per i collezionisti berlinesi,tedeschi ed internazionali (ormai da diversi anni Berlino si è affermata come punto d'incontro,a livello mondiale tra chi crea arte e chi la acquisisce).
Nel contesto di un nutrito ed eclettico programma espositivo, la [ I ][C] propone al pubblico internazionale opere di giovani artisti già affermati così come di nuovi talenti emergenti. Infantellina Contemporary [ I ][C] ha inoltre l'ambizione, attraverso diversi progetti “in embrione”, di dare l'occasione ad una selezione di artisti di poter estrinsecare concetti freschi e contemporanei che siano capaci di coinvolgere lo spettatore, fornendo spunti di riflessione e anche solo semplice appagamento visivo rimarcando, così, il piacere condivisibile di mostrare quanto di bello in Italia viene pensato e prodotto.
Nella città-simbolo dell'arte contemporanea degli ultimi anni, Infantellina Contemporary rappresenta un punto di riferimento per tutti gli amanti dell'arte italiana, dove tradizione artistica italiana e contemporaneità berlinese si fondono a formare una miscela esplosiva.
La Galleria Infantellina Contemporary [ I ][C] nasce dall'esigenza della titolare di avere uno spazio espositivo reale, creando una piattaforma nella quale portare avanti dei messaggi propositivi, attraverso la scelta degli artisti e la selezione delle opere, stimolando un'attiva interazione con i collezionisti, gli addetti ai lavori, le istituzioni e gli artisti stessi.
La Infantellina Contemporary [ I ][C] scaturisce dalla stella della flessibilità estetica ed organizzativa; il punto di partenza consiste nel proporre, quasi esclusivamente, giovani anche se affermati, artisti italiani ed una selezione di talenti emergenti, spaziando tra le varie tecniche artistiche, con un particolare interesse per la sperimentazione.
Avendo una visione proiettata verso il futuro e credendo nella concretezza, piuttosto che descrivere progetti realizzati in passato, preferiamo invitarVi a valutarci personalmente, e speriamo vogliate seguirci in questa avventura che altro non è se non uno spaccato di vita.
