(openPR) Eurostudent III: So leben die Studierenden in Europa

Für den Report Social and Economic Conditions of Student life in Europe wurden mehr als 120.000 Studierende aus 23 europäischen Ländern befragt. Die internationale Studie beleuchtet die sozialen und wirtschaftlichen Lebensbedingungen – es geht unter anderem um Geld, Wohnung, Arbeit, Herkunft und Auslandsaufenthalte.

Das Ergebnis ist der derzeit umfassendste Blick auf die soziale Gruppe der Studierenden in Europa. Wie sehr sich Studierende in Irland von ihren türkischen Kollegen unterscheiden und was die Franzosen mit den Litauern verbindet, wird in der vergleichenden Analyse schnell deutlich. Europas Studierende bilden eine sehr heterogene Gruppe, die von den jeweiligen nationalen Rahmenbedingungen geprägt wird.

So dient die Studie vor allem dazu, im Vergleich mit anderen Ländern die Stärken und Schwächen der politischen und gesellschaftlichen Rahmenbedingungen besser einschätzen zu können.
