Music, dance and rhythms are unquestionably Africa’s first and foremost cultural resources and represent in many ways perfect tools for education and development; simultaneously strengthening social cohesion and promoting multicultural integration.

SONÇA international is initiating and developing innovative and sustainable cultural projects. Our aim is to create new platforms for education and a dynamic exchange within the diversity of cultures - whether it is South-South or North-South!

Building bridges! We are inviting institutional and private donors to join and support our projects. Corporate sponsors may wish to connect their CRS programmes since we are able to offer interesting theme-based communication concepts, employee‘s volunteer programs as well as exclusive hospitality platforms for our cultural events.
SONÇA international is a not-for-profit association and was founded in 1998 by the Mozambican soprano Stella Mendonça to promote MUSIC & ART. We understand our role to act as a full-service agency and the local implementing partner - taking care of the entire project management, marketing and communication including the funding. We are offering more than 25 years of expertise in the field of cultural & NGO management, music programming and education as well as sponsoring and fundraising.
