Snupto is a social platform developed jointly by students from the University of Panama, the Technological University of Panama and students from the MIZ, which, in contrast to Facebook and Twitter, is intended to provide a safe space for social activities on the Internet. The project was originally tested in an Alpha version under the name XTweets since 2016. A beta version of XTweets followed in 2019. After marketing experts joined, the project was renamed Snupto and is currently in the Beta version.
