LE COEUR (www.gallery-lecoeur.com), founded in 2012 and directed by U.S.-born Moses Foster, strongly believes that art galleries have the responsibility to reach out to society. To make the gallery experience more effective, the energy here focuses on presenting international artists whose concepts are relevant to the times we live in. Within a calendar year, 6 main exhibitions serve as the foundation for numerous art and cultural events where city officials as well as educators and leading figures of various industries are appointed as guest speakers. Collaborations promoting university art school graduates of NRW as well as graduates from abroad are key components which strengthen the scope of LE COEUR`s courageous and innovative vision to act as a spring board for young talents.
