Chibar Records is basically an independent label found and established on the 23rdof August 2015. Kevin Elske or also known as Extraplay is the founder and also has released and produced his own music under the name of Chibar Records. Formerly, Extraplay was signed under the label of Flashback Records. After he separated from Flashback Records, he made Chibar Records and support other like-minded producers and artists.

During the first two years, this music label only put its focus on the production and local advertising in Halle (Germany), the hometown of Extraplay. In 2007, the label tried to go online and its sale first opportunity came from the internet.This is why this brand has been focusing on a digital label and releasing yet selling music online. On special occasions, Chibar Records also releases CDs and vinyl copies for the music they have produced.

Untiltoday, Chibar Records has curated more than 380 compilations from other music labels. In 2015, this label witnessed UMEK label released of 1605 podcast. Many of them were played by Carl Cox at Space Ibiza, Tomorrowland, and Las Vegas Dance Event. Other than that, many top DJs from dance music and underground electronic music scenes also played the tracks, such a great advertisement after a long battle in the music industry.
