13 Right on time for the start of the air show in Paris, the digital experts from Aperto have added a range of new features to the global website of the world market leader in the field of aviation and aeronautics, as well as optimising it for mobile end devices. As a special feature the device-specific solutions for desktops, smartphones and tablets are managed centrally from the Magnolia CMS, which prepares and structures the content to suit the relevant device.
A new service aimed specifically at EADS investors has also been created: a responsive web solution (http://www.eads.com/eads/int/en/investor-relations.html) and native app (https://itunes.apple.com/de/app/eads-investors/id653530195?mt=8) for the iPad. The “EADS Investors” app, which is available from the iTunes store, provides useful investor information, such as current share prices, quarterly results and investor events. Users can tailor the dashboard to suit their interests so that all the content they need is there as soon as they open the app. This is made possible by a mobile-optimised API created in Magnolia that guarantees the highest levels of usability and the best-possible content provision for the app.
In addition to these new items, Aperto has also redesigned the EADS Tumblr blog, which can be found at http://eadslive.tumblr.com
