(openPR) Public relations network extends team east and increases marketing efforts west
London, Paris, Babenhausen – 23th April 2004 - The Association of Communications Experts (ACE) is now providing local public relations support in each of the ten countries that join the EU on 1 May. This follows the completion of agreements with PR agencies in Poland, Turkey, Hungary and Malta and new work secured, including a series of local campaigns for the European Union’s Justice and Home Affairs DG.
The network is also expanding its US links to give easier access for clients wishing to deliver European PR programmes. Consultant Colette Ballou has joined the network to help US companies more easily access European PR services through a single contact.
A network of independent and highly experienced PR consultants and agencies, The ACE has continued to expand and win new clients since it was launched in November 2003. Members now operate in 28 countries.
A four-year agreement has been forged to support the European Union Justice and Home Affairs DG. Campaigns will run in various countries to support specific projects. Initial work has focused on communication programmes in Ireland and Poland, and further campaigns are scheduled to target audiences in the 10 new EU entrants through summer 2004.
Marketing Director of Lithuanian ACE member Komunikacija ir konsultantai, UAB said that PR agencies from new member states of the EU are able to offer all PR services and demonstrate the highest quality. “During the period of independence, we have learned how to work with western companies,” said Andrius Kasparavicius.
The ACE is committed to providing a local approach to media campaigns, while offering multi-country co-ordination skills. All members have high quality relationships with journalists in their region, along with intimate knowledge of the process of media engagement in each country. The ACE has a flexible structure, so can ensure specialist teams are identified for each project.
Connecting East with West
Colette Ballou has joined The ACE network to help US companies more easily access European PR services through a single contact.
Ballou, an American who is based in Paris, is in a unique position to help US firms put their European PR brief into the hands of a results-oriented team of consultants who will deliver against it. In addition, her contacts will help ACE members promote their considerable experience of working with US firms to new audiences.
“As the US economy strengthens, companies are looking to either expand to or re-energize their European marketing efforts,” said Ballou. “However, the lessons of the past few years now dictate that they do so with tighter budgets and fewer in-house staff. US clients seek a simple, accountable and cost-effective entry point to all Europe. They also want that European network to function in a typical American manner, with a can-do, results-oriented approach and unparalled client service. That’s exactly what The ACE delivers.”
