Foreign Affairs Office of Harbin Municipality presents its compliments to the China Forum Berlin and has the honor to kindly request its assistance on the following matters. COVID-19, with its wide-ranging impacts, is posing a challenge to mankind rarely seen before. To tide over the global economic crisis caused by this pandemic, the world must come together in solidarity, partnership and cooperation. Throughout history, practice has proved that potential opportunities emerged behind each crisis. It is wise for us to find them, seize them and work jointly to make our people benefit from them. Under this circumstances, we would like to hold Harbin Investment Promotion Presentation to Europe via video link on Thursday, 3rd September, 2020, with a view to pushing forward more concrete exchanges and cooperation between Harbin and European countries and cities. We wish to invite Chairman Mr. Eberhard J. Trempel, business people and representatives from chamber of commerce recommended by the Forum to attend this online meeting. We hope that at such a trying time, a message of collaboration between Harbin and Europe, including the Federal Republic of Germany, will bolster our confidence in promoting mutual exchanges and cooperation in the future."
