(openPR) From 7th to 13th of August 2017, this year’s world championship for Icelandic horses took place in the Dutch city of Oirshot. The BEMER-Distributors Gisela Brück, Petra Ihnen and Helga Kopiczinski represented the BEMER Int. AG with an information booth at the meeting and had the chance to get an insight into the world of the jockeys and their horses.
In front of more than 50.000 spectators, 300 equestrians from 19 different countries competed against each other at this year’s world cup of Icelandic horses at the equestrian centre in Oirschot, which is about an hour away from the Dutch-German border. But not only the international competition in different paces lured the equestrians and visitors to the race course. It was also the exhibition of various horse breeders and manufactures that attracted an audience to the Dutch municipality. A total of 64 exhibitors presented their products next to the oval horse track, including Gisela Brück, Petra Ihnen and Helga Kopiczinski in behalf of the BEMER Int. AG.
“Many equestrians and other exhibitors came to our booth and wanted to inform themselves about the effects of the BEMER-Therapy. On Sunday evening, we actually had the whole Dutch team in our tent“, says Gisela Brück. Together with her two BEMER-Colleagues, she raised the interest of many visitors in the new BEMER Veterinary Line. Even some veterinary surgeons and owners of horse stables were interested in testing the medical technology. In Gisela Brück’s experience, the recommendation to use the BEMER needs a certain basis of trust: “Many visitors are interested in our devices, because of the advice from friends and familiy members who use the BEMER.“ Vicky Eggertson, a German equestrian participating in this year’s world championship, is a good example for that. She took her own BEMER Veterinary Set with her to treat her horses and was able to explain the advantages to other equestrians on site.
After an eventful week in Oirschot, it is easy for Gisela Brück to give a positive summary. She was not only satisfied with the achievements of the German team, who won seven gold, four silver and four bronze medals. Herself and the BEMER-Team also gained new experiences: “I really got many new insights. I had the chance to talk to equestrians and learned how much the horses benefit from the treatment with BEMER. It was an absolutely fascinating week.“
