(openPR) Die Industrial Computer Source kündigt mit dem BE-0961 einen Single Board Computer im 3.5" Format an, welcher mit dem stromsparenden Intel® Atom™ E3000 & N2000 Bay Trail Prozessor bestückt ist. Dieses stromsparende und dabei leistungsstarke Board unterstützt Windows 8 und soll voraussichtlich ab Juni 2014 erhältlich sein.
Der Intel® Atom™ E3000 & N2000 Bay Trail Prozessor bietet von allen stromsparenden Atom-Architekturen die besten Leistungswerte, wodurch es eine interessante Produktlösung für mobile Anwendung ist. Zudem unterstützt es das neueste Betriebssystem Windows 8 und ist voll 64-bit fähig. Das Board verfügt über eine Speicherkapazität von bis zu 8GB DDR3L. Zusätzliche Konfigurationen und Erweiterungen sind durch die zahlreichen I/O-Schnittstellen wie 1 x S-ATA III Konnektor, 4 x COM Ports, 1 x LAN, USB 2.0/3.0 Ports, 1 x CFasst und 1 x Mini PCIe realisierbar.
Durch die besonders flache Bauweise und den weiten Arbeitstemperaturbereich von 40°C ~ +85°C eignet sich das Board ideal für kompakte Steuerungen, mobile batteriegestützte Applikationen sowie für den Einbau in Panel PCs.
