(openPR) MID Qualifies for Highest Microsoft Partner Status
Nuremberg, Tuesday, June 26, 2012 – MID GmbH: Microsoft Partner MID has attained gold competency as Independent Software Vendor (ISV).for the first time. This certification is the highest title rating possible in the Microsoft Partner Program. Innovator had to undergo rigorous checks and attain the "Compatible with Windows 7" certificate to acquire this status. A customer satisfaction survey about Innovator and the services provided by MID was also successfully conducted. You can find more information under www.mid.de.
To become a "Microsoft Partner Gold Independent Software Vendor", MID has been assessed in their experiences in various software development projects, their current solution portfolio, employee qualifications and technology used.
Part of the assessment also included customer surveys carried out about MID product and service satisfaction. The results were conclusive: MID received high acclaim from their customers. These customer surveys will become an annual occurrence in order to maintain this partner status. This follows suit to the MID tradition of integrating their customers into the actual development process. MID was also awarded the Top 100 seal of approval for the most innovative medium-sized company of 2011.
All Innovator products are Windows 7 certified. MID rely on Microsoft's WPF (Windows Presentation Foundation) and TFS (Team Foundation Server) when developing Innovator. Using WPF interface technology enables a cutting edge user experience, ease of use and the ability to flexibly customize the user interface. Using the Innovator plug-in concept for their own individual extensions allows customers access to a multitude of graphic libraries at their fingertips. Team Foundation Server enables MID to improve its planning ability and quality of the Innovator software development.
"Only very few Microsoft partners qualify for the highest partner status. As Microsoft Partner Gold Independent Software Vendor, MID gains an insight into the newest developments and trends and gives its employees the chance of using new technologies in specially-designed Microsoft courses. This, in turn, means that our customers also profit from this partnership." explains MID managing director, Jochen Seemann, who himself worked for several years in a managerial position at Microsoft.
