(openPR) Novato, California – Sunstall Corporation working on the Solar Highway 1.8 Megawatt project successfully commissioned the structural installation service to Advanced Energy Systems at the construction site on November 4th. to mark the milestone surrounding the beginning of the module installation. With the final post driven in the six acre site and all the HatiCon Racking assembled it is now ready to start mounting the solar panels.
“By using best practices for foundation and installation technologies, while providing fast and efficient results, Sunstall's expertise has become completely invaluable, and not just for the construction aspect of the solar value chain. It was a real pleasure for us to prove our understanding of quality performance. This is the heritage of Sunstall's strong German engineering background.” says Heiko W. Schramm, Vice President.
When complete, the project will provide enough electricity to offset the use of both the North and Southbound rest areas at the project location, approximately 15 miles South of Portland, OR on Interstate 5. Sunstall was subcontracted for the racking installation on the project by Advanced Energy Systems, Portland General Electric, the Oregon Department of Transportation, and Five Stars International and Contractors.
Investing in solar projects reduces the dependency on fossil fuels, cuts carbon emissions and increasingly saves money each year!
