Breckerfeld/Menden, 27. September 2021. Nach langer und intensiver Planungsphase hat die IVOSTUD GmbH im September 2021 den Schweißbolzenbereich und das Endkundengeschäft des Traditionsunternehmens OBTEC erworben. Als 100%ige Tochtergesellschaft der 1911 gegründeten Unternehmensgruppe OBO Bettermann verfügt OBTEC über eine langjährige Expertise und hat sich einen weltweiten Namen als Qualitätshersteller im Bereich Befestigungselemente gemacht.
Mit der Übernahme erweitert das zum englischen Mutterkonzern Doncasters gehörende Unternehmen IVOSTUD seine Produktionskapazitäten und stärkt damit seine Marktposition als einer der führenden Automobilzulieferer im Bereich Bolzenschweißtechnik. Die Mitarbeiterinnen und Mitarbeiter der erworbenen OBTEC-Sparte werden übernommen.

Breckerfeld/Menden, September 27th 2021. Following a long and intense planning phase, IVOSTUD GmbH has announced the purchase of the welding stud and end-customer business of OBTEC, from OBO Bettermann Group.
OBTEC possesses significant expertise and has made a name for itself all over the world as a manufacturer of high-quality fastening elements for both industrial and automotive end markets.
Through this acquisition, IVOSTUD, part of the Doncasters Group, expands its production capacities and strengthens its market position as one of the leading suppliers to the automotive industry in the stud welding technology sector. The current employees of the OBTEC business will remain in the company.
