(openPR) Gladbeck, 30. Juni 2016. The Indoor Skydiving Germany Group (ISG), German manufacturer of high performance freefall simulators is expanding and therefor founded a new company, the ISG One GmbH.
Freefall simulators are getting more and more popular all over the world. In the last years there was an increasing demand for high quality technical solutions. With the incorporation of the ISG One GmbH the ISG group reacts to those demands and will offer in the future in addition to the standard wind tunnels and freefall simulators models with a new designed drive system.
The core of this new drive system is a large single fan which produces the required volume flow and pressure for the freefall simulation. By using a large single fan instead of the more common solution with multiple smaller fans, which are known as the industry standard, there are huge improvements in flow quality, noise emission and energy consumption.
Boris Nebe, managing partner of ISG-Group: „We are very happy that we found, together with the engineers of our fan suppliers, a way to deliver this improved technical solution in an economic way to our customers.“
The wind tunnel technology of ISG-Group was developed in cooperation with the aerospace department of the Technical University of Berlin and other aeronautical engineering companies and is internationally recognized for its energy efficiency, safety and airflow quality.
The first reference facility opened in 2009 in Bottrop, Germany (Indoor Skydiving Germany GmbH – www.indoor-skydiving.com). Since then ISG-Group has built and started multiple wind tunnel facilities for customers; many additional projects are in construction or planning phase.
