British Chamber of Commerce in Germany ruft zur Spendenaktion zum neunzigjährigen Jubiläum auf

Die BCCG Foundation startet ihre ganz eigene „Bildungsoffensive“. Die Mitgliedsunternehmen der BCCG werden aufgerufen, anlässlich des neunzigjährigen Bestehens der BCCG zu stiften. Mit den erlösten Mitteln will die BCCG Foundation 2009 noch mehr Studenten als sonst ins Ausland schicken. So unterstützt die Foundation diese jungen Menschen dabei, aktiv im Berufsleben stehende Bindeglieder zwischen Großbritannien und Deutschland zu werden.
„Die BCCG Foundation investiert gezielt in junge Menschen. So sichert sie heute den deutschen und britischen Unternehmen die Netzwerker von morgen.“, so Andreas Meyer-Schwickerath, Managing Director der BCCG.
Seit mehr als 25 Jahren unterstützt die BCCG Foundation britische und deutsche Studenten, die im jeweils anderen Land studieren möchten. Indem sie dieses Programm für talentierte, ambitionierte junge Menschen trägt, fördert die BCCG den kulturellen und geschäftlichen Austausch zwischen Großbritannien und Deutschland. Die Foundation begleitet durch ihre Tätigkeit junge Menschen auf dem Weg in den Arbeitsmarkt und ermöglicht ihnen auf diese Weise, eine wirtschaftliche Existenz aufzubauen.

BCCG and its large British-German entrepreneural and institutional network are first port of call for companies and professionals seeking advice in British-German business and trade. For its services to members and other interested parties, the chamber actively uses this network. The chambers´ extensive databases of members as well as British firms and affiliates doing business in Germany are key for these services.
We work closely with UK Trade & Investment, the British Government Organisation supporting both companies in the UK trading internationally and overseas enterprises seeking to locate in the UK. We are a member of the Council of British Chambers of Commerce in Europe (COBCOE) and are affiliated to the Association of British Chambers of Commerce (BCC), and represent the Confederation of British Industry (CBI) in Germany, thus having access to these organisations and their members.
